About me
Abigail G. Daquiz (she/her) joined the Northwest Justice Project in 2021 as the Director of Advocacy, and became the Executive Director in 2025. She earned her J.D. and B.A. at the University of Washington. Before coming to NJP, Abigail was a Senior Trial Attorney at the Office of the Solicitor of the U.S. Department of Labor where she advanced the rights of workers by enforcing the Fair Labor Standards Act, Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act, the worker protections in the Immigration and Nationality Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act, Mine Safety and Health Act, and whistleblower protections among others. She served on the Board of Northwest Immigrant Rights Project and Benefits Law Center, and has been a champion for civil legal aid in Washington State.
