About me
Cina Littlebird (she/her), Pueblo of Laguna, is the current Director of New Mexico Legal Aid's Native American Program. She joined NMLA’s Native American Program from a legal career serving low-income Native Americans in Washington State with Northwest Justice Project’s (NJP) Native American Unit. With a JD and MA in education from Stanford, Cina’s time at NJP started with a fellowship project supporting Native American students. In her current role, she works to ensure that New Mexico Legal Aid and its partners serve New Mexico’s low-income Native Americans. She brings a background and passion for race equity, working to bring visibility to invisible communities.
