About me
Emily Miller is the Program Director of the Crime Victims Legal Assistance Project at the Michigan Advocacy Program, which is a
statewide civil legal aid team focused on providing free legal assistance to survivors of abuse, assault, neglect, and exploitation.
Previously, she worked as a Staff Attorney for the Family Law Project, serving low-income survivors of domestic and sexual violence,
and as a Staff Attorney at South Carolina Legal Services, where she served survivors and older and vulnerable adults.
Emily currently serves on the Michigan Attorney General’s Elder Abuse Task Force and is on the Board of the Michigan Coalition to
End Domestic and Sexual Violence. She received her B.S. from Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University and her Masters
and J.D. from Vermont Law School.
