About me
Eshaan Kawlra is a senior associate with The Pew Charitable Trusts’s Courts and Communities project, providing analysis and technical assistance to practitioners on evidence-based policy solutions. He previously worked to improve outcomes for youth, families, and communities affected by the juvenile legal systems in Pennsylvania, and now serves on a state campaign Michigan to improve garnishment protections for individuals sued in business-to-consumer debt collection lawsuits. Kawlra holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy from the University of Michigan.
