About me
Giulia Duch Clerici is a senior associate with The Pew Charitable Trusts' Courts and Communities project, where she provides policy analysis and technical assistance to state courts and community advocates. Her recent work has focused on debt collection lawsuits, which impact millions of Americans navigating the legal system without an attorney, as well as challenges related to court appearance in criminal and traffic cases. Prior to joining Pew, she provided legal orientation for detained immigrants in deportation proceedings and served as a coordinator for a refugee humanitarian organization in northern Greece. She is a graduate of Tulane University and holds a master’s degree in criminology from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
