About me
Meghan Wheeler is a staff attorney for Legal Services of Southern Missouri in Springfield, Missouri. She began working for Legal Services as a law student in 2020. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2022 with an emphasis in Child and Family Law. Meghan now serves as the head of the Family Law Practice Group and works primarily out of the Greene County Family Justice Center, which is a one-stop shop for survivors of domestic violence seeking legal, housing, mental health, and other resources. Prior to going to law school, she worked in caves as a park ranger with the U.S. Forest Service! In her free time, Meghan enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog Pippin, reading, and traveling.
