About me
Michelle Trunkett is the Advocacy Director of Florida Rural Legal Services, Inc. Michelle started her career at FRLS as a summer law student intern in 1998 and then as a staff attorney in 2001. Prior to becoming the Advocacy Director, Michelle served as the Managing Attorney for the Fort Myers Regional Office as well as the Housing and Consumer Workgroup leader for the firm. Michelle has concentrated on housing and consumer issues for most of her career with a focus on representing tenants in federally subsidized housing matters and mobile homes. Ms. Trunkett received her B.S. in Sociology and Social Work at Florida State University and her J.D. at Stetson University, College of Law.
