About me
Prior to joining the Center for Reproductive Rights as the U.S. Manager of Pro Bono in 2023, Nell was the Managing Attorney for Client Access and Pro Bono at Legal Services Alabama, where she led statewide initiatives to expand access to justice and strengthen pro bono engagement. Earlier, as Managing Attorney at Disability Rights Maine, Nell led litigation and policy reform efforts, advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities. She began her legal career at King & Spalding, where she contributed to complex litigation while dedicating significant time to pro bono work. Nell earned her J.D. from John Marshall Law School and her B.A. from Salem State University. Licensed to practice law in Alabama, Maine, and Georgia, she is passionate about community empowerment and promoting systemic change.
