About me
Nicole Kiker has been the program manager for the Maryland Justice Passport (MJP) at Civil Justice, Inc. for over two years. She began her career as a Research Program Coordinator for the Poverty and Inequity Research Lab at Johns Hopkins University, where she focused on researching administrative barriers to housing assistance programs.
Under Nicole's leadership, the MJP program has tripled the number of litigant users and expanded MJP partnerships to include over 25 organizations. Nicole plans and executes all MJP user research, which leverages litigants' insights to inform future design and development of the MJP. She earned her Bachelor's degree with honors from Johns Hopkins in 2021. In her spare time, Nicole plays the cello in the Baltimore Philharmonia Orchestra, cooks for her friends, follows Baltimore sports, and plays with her cats, Tony Tater and Pickles.
