About me
Brittanny Perrigue Gomez is the Disaster Benefits Team Manager at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid (TRLA). She advocates for low-income individuals affected by natural disasters, providing critical assistance with FEMA, SBA, and Texas Health and Human Services Other Needs Assistance programs. Her work also includes helping disaster survivors clear title to their homes, enabling them to access much-needed financial disaster relief.
From 2018 to 2020, Brittanny served as an Equal Justice Works Disaster Recovery Legal Corps Fellow, where she honed her skills in disaster recovery law. Before joining TRLA, she worked as an attorney for the U.S. Small Business Administration. In this capacity, she assisted disaster survivors across Florida, Texas, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and California in navigating the complexities of disaster recovery and rebuilding their lives.
Brittanny is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station and St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio.
